Commercial Agreement between Price Induction SA and AVIC International
Price Induction SA informs of the signature of a commercial agreement with AVIC INTERNATIONAL HOLDING CORPORATION (AVIC INTL) to promote the sales of its WESTT solutions in the Chinese market. The WESTT products are educational tools dedicated to the equipment of aeronautical engineering universities and schools. They are designed and manufactured by Price Induction.
This temporary agreement has been signed as a first step towards the establishment of a permanent structure by Price Induction in China.
The range of engines developed by Price Induction, the DGEN 380/390 or the ARAM 390, represents one of the ways of modernizing general aviation’s travel planes and air taxi planes. Offering reliable and affordable turbines and in particular turbofan with high and very high bypass ratios is actually required to modernize the offer on this market. The WESTT solutions are directly derived from all this development work.
The Chinese market represents significant opportunities for these products, with dozens of potential clients for the WESTT BR and WESTT SEV, which are real test benches, and for the WESTT CS/BV virtual test bench.
AVIC INTL,which has set itself the objective, among others, to stimulate general aviation both on its domestic market and ...

Price Induction Brasil hold first sale of its Turbofan virtual test bench Westt CS/BV

Price Induction Brasil signed the first sales contract of a Virtual Turbofan Engine Test Bench Westt CS/BV for the traditional flight school EWM, located in São Paulo.
Ffounded thirty years ago and chaired by Commander Felipe Wagner, this school is recognized as one of the best aviation schools in the country for its quality standards, using modern equipment and for the high technical level of its professionals. The CS/BV Bench will be used in courses of aircraft maintenance and pilot formation offered by the school.
It is expected that students of EWM start training on the bench in August 2012. The Price Induction Westt Solutions (Whole Engine Simulator Turbine Technology) were specially designed for teaching purposes and are the result of over ten years of experience in design and manufacture of aeronautical turbines.
They already equip many top universities in France (Arts et Métiers Paris Tech, Centre de Bordeaux – Talence, IPB/Einserb – Matmeca e Université de Bordeaux 1/CR-IMA ) and now, with the first sale contract signed with EWM, they start to penetrate the Brazilian market.

Opening of a WESTT demonstration space at our Biarritz head office

Since the end of April, Price Induction moved its head office to a new 1500m² building. Additional space was required to cope with the company growth as well as with the preparation of the DGEN engine production launch.
Price Induction has also taken advantage of this move to set up a demonstration space dedicated to its WESTT solutions.
This space is equipped with a virtual test bench (WESTT BV) and a engine assembling/disassembling station (WESTT SEV).
The demonstrations of our real engine test bench (WESTT BR) will still take place in the neighbouring site of Tarnos.
Do not hesitate to contact the sales manager of your area if you would like to visit us and test these solutions. -

EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2011
From July 25 to July 31, Price Induction will be exhibiting the DGEN 380 in its latest integrated version at EAA AirVenture 2011 international show in Oshkosh, WI. This is the very first time this engine is to be on display outside of Europe at an airshow. Price Induction is very proud that EAA AirVenture Oshkosh can be home of this exciting event.

It follows the creation of an American subsidiary, Price Induction, Inc., opened in Atlanta, GA in August of 2010. It shows the company’s commitment to the American market, which is the first general aviation market in the world.
The DGEN 380 has just finished its first endurance test, going through a 150 hours block under severe conditions:This performance is all the more remarkable as it was achieved with an engine set to maximum thrust - more than 5 % greater than the specification. The engine is now ready to fly, and Price Induction will be looking for its first application during the EAA AirVenture Oshkosh.
Designers are welcome to introduce their projects during the week, and come chat with Price Induction engineer team who will be present at all time at the booth.

Installation of the first WESTT CS/BV, the virtual engine test bench at IPB/ ENSEIRB-MATMECA Bordeaux In the AEROfan platform context
IPB/ ENSEIRB – MATMECA Bordeaux, AEROfan platform partner

The first virtual bench WESTT CS/BV produced by Price Induction was installed and successfully booted up on Tuesday February 8th 2011 at the engineering school IPB/ENSEIRB-MATMECA located in Bordeaux.
This purchase was made within the context of the Aquitaine platform for collaborative research and technologic transfer (AEROfan), which was started in 2009 by Price Induction and several other partners, engineering schools, Bordeaux universities and regional institutions.
Strongly supported by theAquitaine Région, the AEROfan platform is a national first.
Indeed, it aggregates in Aquitaine the engineering schools (IPB/ENSEIRB-MATMECA, Arts et Métiers Paris Tech Centre of Bordeaux-Talence, ESTIA…), Bordeaux 1 University (CR-IMA), Jean Taris de Peyehorade Highschool, Bordeaux Aéroparc and research labs in Bordeaux around an extremely innovative project in terms of research, collaborative-development, technologic transfer as well as educational potential on the aeronautic « turbofan » engines designed in the Aquitaine Region by Price Induction.
The WESTT general configuration adopted by the AEROfan partners is the following:
- IPB/ENSEIRB-MATMECA : WESTT CS/BV, virtual engine bench
- Arts et Métiers Paris Tech Centre de Bordeaux Talence : WESTT SEV, engine assembling/disassembling station
